With over 1,000 DPD Pickup parcelshops and 13 depots, DPD (Switzerland) AG operates a comprehensive network for national and international shipping solutions. The service also includes roll containers for more than 4,500 business customers.<\/strong> However, these containers, worth \u20ac600\u2013700, regularly disappeared from the customer cycle without asset tracking.<\/p>\n

The lack of transparency made it impossible to know how many containers were with customers, how long they had been standing there unused, or whether they were intact. In addition, customers used surplus containers for other purposes.<\/p>\n
